We are approaching higher than normal temp for the Willamette valley which means the grass will dry out faster, and wild fire season will be here. Here are some tips to keep in mind to keep your yard and home safe this season.

• Avoid outdoor burning.
• Remove all dead foliage from your property.
• Mow your yard before 10am in the morning.
• Water your yard for at least 10 minutes every other day.

Keep in mind that when a Fire starts on dead or dry grass it will spread quickly, and can be very difficult to control. When fires are un-controlled it will destroy everything in its path.
